Scott Thompson
Founder and Real Estate Consultant
Honesty, Integrity, Hard work, Fun! These are a few of the words in Scott Thompson's personal mission statement. A 1985 graduate from the University of Denver, he holds a BA in Accounting and a Master Degree from the school of experience. This home-grown boy loves real estate, loves his family, loves making people happy, and loves exceeding client expectations!
Scott’s early career was spent in the trenches of public accounting earning his CPA working for a “big-8” accounting firm.
He left public accounting for the private sector and held an executive level position with a national HVAC distribution company from 1989 to 1993. Scott was instrumental in helping build a solid platform for the company. The company continues to have record breaking years to this day. After his experience investing in real estate in his early career, Scott caught the entrepreneurial bug and decided that real estate was one of his passions. Thompson earned his real estate license in 1993, and learned ropes from Denver real estate pioneer Bill Moore, former owner of Colorado’s largest independent real estate firm, Moore & Company. In addition to earning top sales awards each year, he served as managing broker at Moore & Company’s Denver Tech Center office, and saw the company through its merger with a major international real estate concern in 1997.
Over the past decade, Thompson worked as an independent broker and new home specialist. Thompson created Storm, Inc. to answer the loud calls from consumers for an alternative to high-commission, traditional real estate brokerage.

Jeff Miller
Sales Consultant/Realtor
I fell in love with Colorado upon visiting for a friends wedding in the summer of 1999. It didn't take me long to relocate as I was a permanent resident by late November of the same year. I have lived in downtown Denver, Washington Park, Breckenridge, Highlands Ranch, Castle Rock, and Parker. I have personally bought and sold along the way 9 times. From my experience I can't tell you there is a bad place to live in the Denver Metro area. All areas have their distinct advantages depending on your immediate and future needs. Having lived in a variety of different areas, I feel that I bring a unique perspective to potential buyers and sellers. I've been in your shoes all too many times.
I obtained my B.S in Business Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas in 1994. I worked in the financial field the majority of my professional life as an equities trader. I caught the real-estate bug back in 1999 when I made my first purchase in the Denver area. After working with upwards of 10 different agents on a personal basis, I found that I was doing the majority of the analysis. I became passionate about educating myself about the market areas in which I was purchasing, and finding the best value for my dollar. I learned many valuable lessons through my personal experiences and eventually earned my real-estate license in 2007.
I initially joined Your Castle Real Estate in 2007 due to their proprietary technology that provides their agents with unparalleled market data. In my eyes these tools are a distinct advantage to all potential clients. I joined the Storm, Inc Team which allows me to provide a higher level of service, and draw upon the unique experiences of each team member. The result to you the client is an overall more customer focused experience.
